Bright and Shiny

I've always plead the notion that I'm suited for a climate like London or Seattle -- not too hot, not too cold, not too bright. However, I never realized how much I miss the sun until it was out yesterday for the first time in what seems like an age. The winter blues is a real thing, my friends, so when I left work yesterday and saw the sun, I thought I was going to pass out from happiness.

I hopped in my little car an drove as fast (and safely) as I could to the highest point in the valley. I had to get as close to the sun as I could so I had as much time with the sunlight as possible before it ducked behind the western mountains for the night. Got there with time to spare. Despite only being in the 30s, I stood on that high mountain top in a t-shirt so I could soak up as much vitamin-D as possible.

Feeling a bit more rejuvenated this morning, so to celebrate, some words I like:
