Nook in Process

Gahhhhh, remember how I've been wanting that reading nook in my room by the window, complete with arm chair, foot rest, books, cute lamp, and hot chocolate? Welp, I got a pretty awesome armchair today for $25 bucks, which I plan to reupholster (Harm, will you help meeeeeee?).

So, coming to you live from my chair, in the corner by the window, this is me.

Me, who also just bought 60 new books today. They were one dollar each. ONE dollar...just a perk of working where I work. And they are good books, too, not lame ones you see in clearance bins, but legit, new books. So, I got 60 of 'em. Which isn't as many as some people got, so I don't feel so bad. I am pleased. Pleased. as. punch. All I want to do is play with my books, but I've no more room on my shelves...gonna have to buy a new set.
